Podiatry
QUT Health Clinics - Podiatry provides general foot care, diabetes management, children's foot care and orthotics and treatment for acute foot problems.
New patients attending the Podiatry Clinic are examined comprehensively by podiatry students under the direct supervision of fully qualified Podiatrists to determine your individual treatment care plan. Following initial consultation, patients may be required to return for further specialist services.
Please note: As we are a teaching facility and treatment is provided by our students you will not be able to claim our fees through your health fund or through Medicare.
Podiatry services include:
- Biomechanics and gait analysis

- Computerised plantar pressure analysis clinic
- Orthotic prescription and dispensing
- Paediatrics clinic
- Physical medicine
- Surgery
- Vascular and sensory assessment
- Diabetes foot care
- Ingrown toe nail prevention, management and treatment
- Podiatry has a dedicated sports clinic and paediatric facilities.
- We also offer evening appointments.
- No referral is necessary to attend the clinic.
