Important information COVID-19 Update

We are committed to the health and safety of our clients and community, and have implemented measures to increase the hygiene of our facilities and ensure that our services deliver best practice care.

For the immediate term, we will need to limit our clinic services in line with changing protocols and safety measures. Please call ahead on 07 3138 9777 with enquiries about the current services available, or email outside of operating hours.

We look forward to resuming our full breadth of community services when it is safe to do so. In the meantime, look after your wellbeing and those around you. We are #InThisTogether.

Can I claim on Medicare or Private Health insurance?

Many of our services are provided by our students under the supervision of accredited clinicians and are therefore at very competitive prices. We aim to keep our fees lower than most people's health fund gap payment, and well under what you would expect to pay in private practice (please refer to the Costs page for more information on fees).

As these services are provided by students they are not covered by Medicare or Private Health Insurance, however our Optometry Clinic offers HICAPS for spectacle and contact lens purchases and can immediately process your health fund claim.

Press the button for the QUT Health Clinic you require (Podiatry, Optometry, Psychology & Counselling etc.), hold the button for five seconds and the gate will open.
